Images For All Sizes

From large screen to small there can be a huge difference in the amount of pixel space, and therefore the image file size that needs to be used. We want our images small enough to load quickly on small screens such as phones and tablets where data usage might be a concern and also be large enough to not looked pixelated on large screens. This is where the responsive image support that is built into Drupal 8 comes into play. In this presentation the focus will be to determine how our images can fit into our site layout at different screen sizes, create a plan, and set up the necessary configuration to provide different size options depending on browser width and screen resolution. We will also review how this can be used in conjunction with image cropping tools to provide a client greater control of what gets displayed.
