So you want to build a Prefab Thing -- y'know, a Thing your team or other groups in your organization can use to get off the ground with a Drupal 8 site -- a Thing with a cohesive look-and-feel -- a Thing with a handful of functionalities that Everyone asks for... You want a Thing that will save time on basic startup dev work, so that time/resources can be spent on more Cool Stuff.
In this session, we'll go over how to create a reusable Drupal 8 "starter kit" that's right for you -- be it an install profile, a distribution, or a classic-fresh-semi-acoustic-modern-indie-grunge Thing that really doesn't do labels, man.
Yes, there will be composer, and configuration management, and git, and puppies -- jk lol, this is a Drupal camp, obviously it'll be kittens.
You'll get the most out of this session if you're at least a little acquainted with Drupal 8 and composer, but it'll be just fine for all levels of Drupalers.
